Source files often reference fonts that are not broadly available for web implementation. The generator can append practical Google Font alternatives.
How matches are derived
After generation, parsed typography tokens are inspected and compared against known Google font options.
Output format
When substitutions are detected, an appendix is added with lines such as:
- Original font
- Recommended closest Google Font
- Brief implementation rationale
Best use
Treat substitutions as implementation guidance, not strict replacements. Validate with brand and design stakeholders when exact typography is important.
